Lincoln Financial Services was founded by Brandon Lincoln’s father, Michael Lincoln, in 1976. Brandon Lincoln began working at Lincoln Financial Services in 2011, transitioned into management in 2015, and took over as president and owner in 2019 after Michael’s retirement.

Prior to joining the firm, Brandon spent 10 years as a senior consultant and strategic analyst for a global Fortune 500 organization. In his work as an analyst, Brandon conducted quantitative and qualitative analysis to determine appropriate service-orientated solutions for companies in all vertical markets, supporting multiple Western states and provinces both below and above the Canadian border. He decided to pivot and bring his love for analysis into the financial services industry and never looked back.

Since joining the family practice more than 15 years ago, Brandon has garnered multiple licenses, accreditations, and designations to increase his value to clients. He is Series 24, 63, 65, 66, and 7 securities registered, and he holds licenses in life, health, accident, VA, VUL, and long-term care insurance.

Brandon is designated as a Retirement Income Certified Professional® (RICP®) by the American College of Financial Services. He has been awarded a life and qualifying member of the MDRT for 14 years, Court of the Table for 8 years, Top of the Table for 4 years, and is an MDRT Foundation Bronze Knight. He spends his time and professional experience helping individuals and families, as well as small businesses and organizations with financial and retirement services tailored to their individual needs and goals.

The Retirement Income Certified Professional (RICP®) is a specialized professional designation for financial advisors focused on building sustainable, comprehensive retirement income strategies. It specializes in transforming retirement savings into a sustainable income stream, including Social Security, tax management, and long-term care planning.

Founded in 1927, MDRT (Million Dollar Round Table), The Premier Association of Financial Professionals®, is a global, independent association of the world’s leading life insurance and financial services professionals. MDRT members demonstrate exceptional professional knowledge, strict ethical conduct and outstanding client service.

“Our value proposition at Lincoln Financial Services is that we help our clients navigate the opportunities, pitfalls, and challenges of changes in life and life events, up to and through retirement,” Brandon says. “Our primary focus is comprehensive financial planning for pre-retirees. We also do a lot of work for organizations, including the local fire department and their first responders.”

“I chose this profession to continue to grow our family’s legacy, plus I enjoy the challenge that financial planning presents, because no two cases are the same. The ability to help someone realize that they can retire or attain a goal they thought was unattainable is rewarding,” he says. “We are goals-based, and we scale our services up or down based on client need. We like to think that we are good at taking complex topics, situations, products, and solutions and working with them in a way that is easily understandable by the client. We work hard to ‘teach’ our clients so that they can make educated decisions. We don’t tell people what to do; we help them decide. Because of our background and experience, we are able to provide perspective and subject matter expertise that clients may not have considered on their own.”

Brandon enjoys doing the analytical work required as a financial advisor, but more than that, he enjoys helping clients realize that goals are usually attainable with a proper plan in place. “I don’t ever want to have to tell a client that they cannot obtain a goal, or that they can’t retire. Sometimes managing an expectation to something more realistic is necessary, but never a ‘you can’t,’” Brandon says.

Raised in Arvada, Colorado, where he still resides with his family, Brandon attended the University of Phoenix. Married to his wife, Sarah, since 2004, the couple spends most of their free time when they aren’t working raising their four children: Audrey (16), Brianna (10), Henry (8) and Miles (5). The family is active at their church, St. Joseph’s Catholic Parish, and Brandon is also involved in other communities in various ways. “I donate to the MDRT Foundation and their charitable interests each year. When time allows in the future, I will volunteer more time to aviation-based charitable interests as well (EAA, CPA, Pilots N Paws, Angel Flights, Civil Air Patrol, etc.),” he says.

An active instrument-rated private pilot, Brandon enjoys traveling, camping, hunting and hiking, and often takes road trips and RV vacations. He also likes cooking, 3D printing and design, Scotch and bourbon, and fine cigars.

Our Financial Planning & Wealth Management Process

LORAN, short for long range navigation, was a hyperbolic radio navigation system used by long-range patrol aircraft operating in the Pacific theatre during World War II. We named our process The LORAN Formula because effective navigation of retirement and financial planning can be likened to piloting an aircraft with precision and foresight. Just as a skilled aviator meticulously charts a course, taking into account various factors like weather conditions, fuel consumption, and airspace restrictions, effective retirement and financial planning involves careful consideration of multiple variables.
